I miss a day and no one calls me out, sweet. I just got Mexican food by B&L's new spot, had to wait for 25 minutes for our stuff. Note to self.
Thursday, yes, One day left until the weekend. It was gorgeous out and I really wanted to mountain bike. I knew woody was looking for blood after we had a rough day at SSaP, so I made sure I steered clear of this. I hit the tow path and put some tunes on. Someone moved the fences where they are doing construction, so it was easier to pass this time. Got hung up going past a backhoe doe
😛
Dump into the ST and see Rick in front of me, hopefully I wasn't the reason he fell
😉
Just like anything else on a afternoon at Six Mile, this place is jumpin. Tons of people out and I don't blame them. I'm kind of in the zone and going through the motions at this point. It is my home park after all. I can close my eyes and probably ride this place, as long as Jay hasn't throw in anything new. Onto white and I start thinking about tons of other things besides riding. Then I zig instead of zag and hit two trees with my left bar.
Anndddd now I'm on the ground. This one hurt though. I didn't smack my head. I took about 5 seconds to take an inventory and I'm off. Man, that really took the wind out of my sails. Thankfully I remembered what happened and was able to which way to head next. I get it together about 5 minutes into the ride and just return to business. Ran into Alex_k on the white trail reversed, he is either looking thin or is wearing baggier clothes.
Oh yeah, the canal path. The bugs or gnats or whatever they are are FREAKING ANNOYING AS SHIT. Can someone please tell me what they do for the ecosystem? I have to ride with my hand over my mouth and nose so I don't get a free dinner. Thankfully it takes the numbness out of riding, but on the other hand, hitting 10,000 of these things suck.

I kept it mellow in hopes that I don't feel tired Friday, but we will see.
woody said pics or it didn't happen, surely you know I deliver:
One is a hole, and the other is just a chunk of skin missing. I think it is still stuck to my jersey with all the blood along with it
😛 I haven't head a Six Mile Tattoo in a while, I think this one will stick around for a while. SMT's dont really hurt or get bonus pain/gore points, but for some reason the scars stay with you for a while.
This is my skinned pinky.
I must have hit a branch that was just trimmed off of the tree, feels pretty jammed up. Nothing terrible doe.
I was happy to be back on my Scalpel. And gears. I adjusted my seat a little because I think it slipped the last time. I need to figure out if it is time to put on a new rear tire now or stick with what I have for the weekend if we decide to head up north. Not sure I want to destroy a tire again up thurr
😛
