Peezy's Black Magic 2013

I'm glad I went back to sspeed... Its what I want to ride right now... I won't be naive in saying no more gears ever again... I like options

As for gears making you ride faster, no doubt.... I can ride faster on a geared bike but sspeed makes me stronger...

Correction to Matty's statement: Those gears made you FAST

SS is stupid. I'm so glad I gave that up. Shout out to Norm who gave me gears AKA gave my back a few extra years.
.

Yes JP is fast thats what racers do get faster, i am one of his biggest fans which is what i am a fan.

SS stupid ok sure i will agree i guess but she never breaks down or skips a beat. Only gets angry when we got to wait for some brittle geary things that broke or aren't working. Just saying.

Different strokes they say.

Roses are awesome, today is a good day for smelling them. Wish I wasn't in this GD box factory.

Fire alarm just went off because some asshole burnt toast. I'm out back by the pond smelling the bull frogs. Don't think I'm gonna go back in...

My students are working on a practice AP exam outside - I think one actually might be burning. Great. I'll have to fill out an accident report now.

since I didn't have a FS for a while and then I rode the new FS yesterday. I was totally lost at how to handle it. Opposite of you. That and too much road biking 😱

I'll take it all. This past year I've sold 3 bikes and I bought 3 bikes. I'll probably buy another 3 because you guessed it #YOLO

😡 ... 🙁 ... :hmmm: ...

is it possible to be competitive at ssap going 32x18?

Probably not, but that's what I'm bringing. (Didn't plan on being competitive anyway.) I am just testing a theory: I typically rode a 32:20 all winter the past few years and then switched up to an 18 for SSAP and one or two other races early in the year. While an 18 isn't a hard gear to run, it always hurt because I was used to a spinning gear. This year, I used 32:18 all winter and I'm not changing it. It feels like a spinning gear now (except on a few of the steeper climbs around here), so I'm curious to see if I'll be faster on this than I'd be if I had spun the easier gear all winter and then switched like I did last year.
