NYC PABT Commuters

Ok... the bike is downgraded and almost ready. Just waiting for a shifter.
Will take it to the city next Sunday and lock it up. My bike commute will start the following Monday.... provided the bike is still there.
It will be locked up using the u lock you see on the bike and an additional chain. Should have put that in the pic. Anyways, will post up a pic of the bike locked up.
How many days... err hrs b4 it gets stolen?

Good luck. Maybe hit it up with a coat of black primer before you do this?
 
I suggest leaving it in the rain for a few days and do something to the yellow paint, from a half block away, it still looks like a decent bike
if I walked by it, I may have given it a second look, which is what you want to avoid.
maybe just roughly spray paint it a dull color like brown or black with the parts on
 
Took the early morning bus to nyc.
Luckily, the POSS survived the trip in the storage area on the bus.
Took a round trip to work to time it. Took roughly 20 min each way which was what I figured. But I'm sure rush hr traffic will be a bit different.
Should the bike still be there on Monday, should take 7th down instead of 9th.
Going up 8th Ave was pretty good. The bike lane is separated from the main road most of the way. Just gotta watch out for pedestrians and cars making a left turn on couple of spots.

Will you still love me tomorrow....
And yes, I did take off the lights

You don't need a pipe cutter. If you want the POSS... all you have to do is ask.

Save the locks this way. They are very effective in Wayne. Lol
