depends who i am drinking with and supply chain

this is one advantage of a S/O who doesnt like beer, (with very very few exceptions) unless i get something specifically for her, all my beer is safe 😀

Usually, I just drink one 8% DIPA, so I try to not buy crap. I have 1 good/decent one and end it.

If I know for sure that I am having more than 1 beer, such as a party situation, then I start with the cheap stuff and work my way up to the good stuff. Otherwise, I can't drink the crap after drinking the good stuff.

On the other half, in a party situation, it is a dangerous game to leave the good stuff, when someone who just likes can art takes the good ones and doesn't appreciate the beer.....or the guy who seems to keep count or just likes to pound beers, decides to try one of the tall can beers.

About 2 years ago, I almost had a heart attack when I had never had a Heady Topper and my sister was having a party and had a 4 pack mixed of it in with the swill and didn't know to quarantine it for me, or at least for a select few. Then you get people who are like "Gee, I haven't had beer from a can since college when I drank Meisterbrow or Hamms so I'll try this Heady What is the name on this big can?"

Had to try this after seeing so many posts in beer groups and it getting the @jShort seal of approval.

Not bad at all.
Drinks a little light at 6.7%-
Almost an NEIPA Session compared to the 8%+ pounders that line my fridge.
But not bad at all. I can see this fitting in to the rotation for sure.
And at $9/6, if nothing else,
it will make an excellent wife decoy.
I may even have her pick some up,
just so she thinks this is what beer costs.

My wife waited on line on her way home from work. Took her about a half hour, she got there at 4, left around 430. It's pretty gosh darn delicious.
