OOS MOGA

Just gonna keep ice on it until swelling subsides. I need this to ride tomorrow. Right now I can't control brake modulation, there's no feel to where the brakes are locking up. Scared myself a few times! Thanks! I'ts a great day for some shredding!☺

Don't you have a race this weekend?

Haha, I can't ride over a curb without pain. My inner me tells me not to ride today...
Make sure you take Jim up to the look out, then the orange switch backs and of course the guard rail climb. No trip to CR is complete without hitting my favorite part of the park. Have fun kids

Gave @echappy a little taste of rock riding this morning. Unfortunately, his ride was cut short. Went OTB on a drop on red and hurt his knee. Nothing serious, but not enough to continue climbing. Hope it's a quick recovery as it didn't look too bad. @qclabrat I ended up doing lower orange and successfully climbed the switchbacks for the first time. Then went over to yellow to the look out.

There is a drop on CR? How big of a drop?

thanks for showing me around and waiting on both the ascents and descents 🙂

i think i now know why they call quite a bit of Lewis Morris beginner/intermediate: at least you don't have to worry about overshooting a turn on the uphill and clip out

the knee is better now (applied pain med), but shoulder/rib cage is sore like hell. so that's now two crashes in the two times I rode with the gang. I'm def getting elbow pads before riding with you fine folks again 😉

eta: funny thing is, i was able to get down the back side of LewMo yellow trail without hopping off, and thought that my handling has improved. Perhaps it has, but as Jay-Z rapped in one song "gravity is ill," and mother nature sure showed me who's in charge.

You know... I think Pat is just bad luck. You shouldnt ride with him ever! Lol jk

A little technique goes a long way here.
Heal-up, and we'll see if we can grab a coach to talk about some of these situations.
i used to front dismount all the time, almost did the other night too! but is has gone away with a little training.
