Heal up, we're one beat up group aren't wethanks for showing me around and waiting on both the ascents and descents 🙂
i think i now know why they call quite a bit of Lewis Morris beginner/intermediate: at least you don't have to worry about overshooting a turn on the uphill and clip out
the knee is better now (applied pain med), but shoulder/rib cage is sore like hell. so that's now two crashes in the two times I rode with the gang. I'm def getting elbow pads before riding with you fine folks again 😉
eta: funny thing is, i was able to get down the back side of LewMo yellow trail without hopping off, and thought that my handling has improved. Perhaps it has, but as Jay-Z rapped in one song "gravity is ill," and mother nature sure showed me who's in charge.
Chimney has some decent tech. Great transition to a true intermediate park. Red and white in my opinion are the easiest. Followed by blue. Get comfortable with them first before heading over to Orange and yellow. Also have you considered switching to flats for to more techy and rocky parks? There's not shame in riding flats on a mountain bike....
The real Pat has a good point, I'm planning on setting up a group skills clinic in the Fall if anyone is interested, max 4 riders.
