Focalin is a much better drug in my opinion. It only contains the “Active” part. So the actual amount of “speed” is less. The XR version avoids the “swings”.

I was diagnosed with adhd as a kid but my parents didn’t like the drugs so only took them for a year. structure and exercise do help. The newer ADHD medications have a better blend of short and long acting amphetamines which reduces the nasty drop off and hangover of the early drugs like Ritalin

Ritalin does zero for me, actually the extended release stuff isn't great either as it lingers till night time and distrupts sleep. I prefer regular release and break up pills manually and take as needed. It's common that kids grow out of it, unfortunately my genetics have gifted this to my kids

Oh btw, does anyone here ski or snowboard? I do both and got new boots this year for the board. The old VANs were over 15 yrs old and in serious need for upgrading. Almost got new ski boots also but ended up getting a pair for MrsQ instead. Hers were almost 20 yrs old and much worst shape than mine. We only ski locally since the kids don't really enjoy it so not worth a farther trip.

I'm saving the cash for it right now once I get the cash I'm going to finance it by signing up for a credit card(0%18 months)since I was directed to expand my credit since we're trying to buy rental property in the near future.

When buying time happens I'll see what's out there, leaning on a jeffsy and I keep checking if they will be at any events out here to get my ass on one.
