Surprising that if the RDO is a racing hard tail that it would fit 2.6 wide tires on it.

I ride a Specialized Epic and it won’t fit wider than 2.25 on rear, although it’s a 29er.

It "took" a 2.8 rekon.
Had only 2mm of space on each side. Not sure I would be comfortable even with 2.6 to be honest.

Are you saying Santa Cruz has only 2 Hightowers of your size remaining in their inventory of 2019 Hightowers, not the Hightower LT?
The Hightower is on my short list of Santa Cruz bikes to demo.

And my only MTB is in the shop.
