Ask Norm Next Tuesday

Demographically speaking, odds are like 30% of Nickleback haters were totally into it when they first came out. They sold millions and millions of records. So, which one of you was it? Who has Nickleback on their iTunes?

Also, Creed was worse in my opinion.
Funny, I was going to work up a math word problem that involved Nickelback and Creed but ran out of time.

As with any era, there were a lot of bad bands on the radio. But at least there was true alt radio stations back then. 92.3 plays the same 40 songs over and over. 20 new songs and 20 blink 182 songs. They don't even break artists anymore.

Chemex is still just a regular pourover, it's just fancy and uses thicker glass to retain heat compared to cheaper copies. Chemex takes a little bit longer between pre-soaking filter, bloom, waiting for drip through... but you get more coffee than the Aeropress. I only got the Aeropress a few months ago, but probably use it the most now because it's quick enough and easy to clean. Hand grinding beans takes most of my time cause I ain't as cool as the automatic folks.
I've been considering getting one of these for it:

that is rap. Come on man, not even the Rapper's Delight?

With race numbers down with participants do you think that nica will feed the future of racing or do you think most these kids will do normal thing like buy a car, then not start riding again till married with children.

My feeling trend will continue young and mid lifers will be the feeder of xc race scene.
@Norm lots of noise this week
To follow on Matty's question, which you could probably already speak for the 10 mins. But what's up next for cycling? Road bike sales and amateur racing was buoyed during the Lance years. But for the last 10 years, the industry has been struggling to find an identity. MTB sort or took off, but not enough to replace the peak. Then came CX, bike packing, endurance riding, graveling and along with that a dizzying number of standards which artificially inflated sales. Will cycling ever get back to the mainstream?

Weight watchers bike racing... In all seriousness I believe peloton and spin class have had an impact I just don't know the direction.

Man this is a great question, along with @mattybfat. I feel like this is actually a serious question with a serious discussion involved. Like, oh IDK, a podcast.
