@jShort So much for SBA loans finding it's way to employees.

$100,000 bonuses.

Now they want to delay rehiring furloughed workers and use the money for other expenses.

Agreed. I think I had sent this to a couple of people:

Wait.... you guys know how to pump gas???
As a kid from Queens, I pumped my own gas foreva. I live close to Jersey now and gas up there most of the time. Not only is it cheaper but I get to have someone else pump my gas. Don’t need to get out. Don’t need to get dirty. Can stay warm in the winter, cool in the summer. I can even keep listening to Howard Stern!

You fools don’t know how lucky you have it.

My mom moved to Florida 15 years ago...she figured out how to pump her own gas in exactly 1 day...its not that hard....When I was a kid my father owned gas stations....at age 9 I started pumped gas for him...using the fucking slide credit card machine and making change in cash....and i'm not claiming to be Albert Einstein....Point being, we would survive without gas attendants....that said...it is nice having someone do it for me when its 8 degrees outside....I pumped enough gas to last me a lifetime.

100%...You know how often my wife brings some nasty illness home from the ER and I lay right next to her and never get it? Id say like every month in the winter. This was not always the case...back when I was 50-80 lbs heavier than I am now, I used to get sick alot. Now 14 years of me getting my weight under control, eating better, etc....I feel like this is as much of a reason why I dont get sick as anything else. Or if I do get sick, its usually over quickly.

Shitty news-of-the-day.

NY has confirmed 1.2% of the population positive.
They are approaching 0.1% of the POPULATION dying from this (they are at 0.09% now)

NJ is around 0.9% of population, with 0.04% dying. (edit: ty rick)

So what's the real infection incidence in NY now - 5%? 10%? 20%? Larger scale antibody testing there will be very interesting
