I took a trip down memory lane today to recreate a scene from ‘91. My white ‘91 Mazda SUV vs my white ‘23 Mazda SUV in the same spot where I lived 32 years ago.
No, they are for real. I actually I saw these “car boat” things at Turks a few months ago. One was a Barbie Pink Rolls-like blob, and another was a yellow Ferrariesque object.
Spotted in Bernardsville. I’ll never understand the appeal of a lifted truck with low profile tires on massive rims 🙄. Looks like an outsized roller skate.
Spent some time this afternoon cutting back the brush on this section. It’s a fun diversion from the adjacent rubbled fire road. Was getting overgrown.
I’m planning on Bromley Friday and Pico Saturday if the snow is any good. Is it heavy wet cement ? or decent? Friday is supposed to be wind-free and in the 30’s.
I’m planning Bromley on Friday and Pico on Saturday. If anyone is planning the same, HMU.
Note: Both are closing at days end Sunday. Heading back Saturday evening to avoid as much of the eclipse madness as possible.
How about this…
1) put top down
2) install fork mount on piece of wood (1x3)
3) cut the 1x3 to the length of your spoiler
4) line the bottom of the wood with felt or rubber sheet
5) use square U bolts (line them with rubber to protect against scratches) to attach wood to spoiler
6) mount bike...
I had an El Rey for a few years just like this (orange) albeit XL. Really great bike. If anyone buys this I still have a spare lower swingarm (chainstay) if you want it as a backup since parts are harder to find.
