    Bike/car accidents the numbers

WOW! look at these numbers, and for a laugh the comments at the bottom. I know it's easy to blame the cars, but I wonder how many were the cyclist's fault. I've seen some roadies doing some seriously stupid shat...

    Olympic MTB

Watched the woman on Saturday. Gotta tell ya was a little disapointed in the course. Though it had elevation changes, not so much in the way of rocks, roots, skinnies, or other techy stuff. I guess I just expected more from Olympic caliber athletes. Anyone else watch?

    New loop on red??

I noticed the last few times I was out it looks as if a new trail off of red is going in (haven't done recon on it yet) not to far before or after the powerline right of way. Maybe Jason has an answer.

    What is it??

On my way to work this morning I saw a guy on a bike? that seem to work more like an elliptical. He was standing and there were no pedals more like the treads on an elliptical going round and round. What is this thing called? :hmmm:

    Sunglasses

Right now I just wear a pair of regular polarized sun glasses for protection against branches, weeds and other crap hanging into the trail, but in early morning or cloudy days they can make it darker and hard to see. Any recomendations for glasses with a tint without breaking the bank.

    White trail underated

Did the white trail to orange at CR on Monday. White not as challenging as the others but still a good time. Some nice dropoffs and if you reverse it good climbs. The people I usually go with avoid it and go straight to red or blue so I gave it a try and liked it.
