Getting down to the wire this week today I had to do the minimum requirement after all the miles I did last week and I probably wont have time to ride tmw. Gonna be tricky later this week.
Just did a local cruise high cadence low effort to get the hour in. Took one random picture.

Ride 24/31. Started out wanting to do just a road ride but I had to hit the jump trails. Explored an old cemetery with some headstones from the 1700’s.

Had a route planned to ride both Observatory Hill and Ragged Mtn in Charlottesville Va this morning. But I woke up to dumping rain and I did not have a plan B. I waited until the rain stopped and pedaled out as the last rain drop fell. It was a very wet ride and I had to cut in short, but I got in the hour. This is my second time riding these trails. I enjoy them. Climbs are gravel or double track (which I prefer). Just a few steep punches. And the downhills are built well, bermed and full of tech. Slippery as snot when wet though. Appropriately named considering they are on UVA property.

This was a low intensity, late morning ride before I had any breakfast. I stopped at the bagel shop on the way home and wasn't hungry until I got there. Unfortunately, the selection of bagels was very limited although I should have expected that after 1pm.

Day 25 was a rain delayed ride around the rubber paths and camps of Raystown. Hopefully it dries out to hit Hydro side tomorrow.
