Ride #25
I was hoping to ride some trail today but picked the wrong route. The route I downloaded ended up being all bike path and no trail. Lake Sawyer has lots of single track according to Trailforks but I didn't ride one inch of it. I saw lots of it, but I was pressed for time and didn't want to explore off the downloaded route in fear of not getting back to hotel in time. Hopefully I'll see some dirt tomorrow.

25. Mountainside got slammed by this storm. Garbage company left the top off the can and it had a foot of water sitting in the bottom of it. I guess cars were stranded on 22 due to flooding as well. Walked into the basement and yup water standing water again. 2nd time this has ever happened and both happened this summer #climatechangeisfakenews #gottacleanmyguttersandpraythisisthemainproblem #townalsodidmajorwatermainconstructionandmayhavedonesomethingtogroundwaterrunoffbecausemyneiborsarehavingthesameissue. I knew it was going to be a night ride due to early shift at the hospital. Lots of debris down, so I figured I’d take an easy spin on the mtb. Highly recommend this EQ collab with Parish as well.
