2025 Garden Thread

Sometimes I lose motivation in August. Weeding and cleaning out dead plants is depressing. Have to keep up on harvest too and things go to shite quickly if I don't spend time on it nearly every day. Trying not to let that happen. Cleaned up the dead snap pea vines and weeded all the mulch area between the beds. The break in the weather helps a lot.

The Limelight Hydrangeas are nearing peak magnificence. Reflection too.

Today, I weeded all the raised beds except one. Almost weed free. We'll see how long that lasts. Photo of the remaining sickly zucchini plants. They are not flowering or producing any fruit for a while now, so I pulled them to make weeding the bed easier.

Picked some more cherrymatoes, Brussels sprouts, and beets.

Here's some stuff from Tuesday. Haven't been out there since. I need to check it.

Cherrymatoes. I have three plants, Chocolate, Sweet Million, and Sweet 100 (the smaller ones). The Sweet Millions are the best tasting, followed by the Chocolate IMO.

Tomatoes, including six more Black Krims, bringing the total to 15, so far, from the one plant.
