6 Mile Run Conditions

So I got out. I'm on the fence. The ground is still soft. I was leaving tracks, and could dig my toe in without much effort, but it wasn't peanut butter. It was firm but moldable - like Playdoh.

Probably could be hero dirt by tomorrow morning with the wind. If there's dew in the morning, I would say let the sun burn it off first.

Btw - full disclosure: I didn't get a chance to walk in too far. Normally I would give it about a half mile, I maybe made it in 1/8.

I saw a bunch of bikes in the Canal lot this morning on the way to work, so hopefully it's good. I'm planning to get over there around 1pm.

I don't think you could have asked for better conditions then today......nice weather, not much dust, trails were sticky with minimal leaf cover on most of the trails, not much mud. Supposed to be somewhat nice again on Wednesday.

How much rain did the area get yesterday? Thinking about heading up that way tomorrow morning if the trails will be rideable.

It poured all day. The canal was waterlogged today.

A million people will be out there.

All the wet spots will be wet.

Blue and red heading out from canal definitely have a few Muddy spots, but they can mostly be ridden around. Orange is in really good shape. Red near the 27 lot is a bit muddy as well.
