That might have been me - I was going so fast on the horsethief and with the bigger tires people probably thought I was a motorcycle 😉

Seriously the park is in great shape - you did a great job on most of the erosion on blue in the field from canal lot. I rode everything - from canal lot blue, red, orange, red - 27 lot, red back to white, then red to canal rd. Only issues I saw:

1. Mud pit right after concrete bridge
2. Low bridge leaner on beginning of orange
3. Low bridge leaner on red coming back from 27 lot
4. Erosion on some of the rollers on white
5. Really bad erosion on big rollers on red before canal rd.

Other than that it was awesome - even the usual muddy spots on red paralleling orange are almost dry

Rick's assessment is spot on. Couldn't have said it better myself. Only took 2 pics because I was in a bit of a hurry.

I'm sure it has been noted somewhere in these threads but there is a missing bridge altogether on the blue from the downhill on the field. You can cross in the water but that tilted bridge is just gone.

Otherwise, it was really just the concrete bridge area that is real bad.

Was there this morning.

Concrete bridge was a mess and there is that bridge crossing the water on blue that's gone but everything else was dry and looking pretty good.

The trails def need some TLC from winter weather abuse but it was a great day to be out there. 🙂

A new bridge will magically appear at BM in a few weeks.

Any idea what the conditions will look like this coming week? Rain is spotty in the forecast so I'm unsure when the best time to go will be...

IMO it will be hit or miss, with the smaller rain amounts forecast it's hard to tell unless someone goes out there to check. Best bet would be keep your eyes on this thread and the trail conditions dashboard. Or, go and have a look yourself!

If the forecast is right (weather guys nailed it yesterday 🙄) with light rain this morning, sunny and windy hi of 70 this afternoon, should be fine tomorrow

I was out today. Excellent conditions! Thanks J for filling in the erosion heading back to Canal lot! I heard you were out today working...

Dug for a few hrs this am and did a full loop this afternoon. For sure this winter was the hardest on the park in years. The lack of a hard freeze and the total lack of respect for the park made for a bad combo. Clearly the park is getting more use than ever and it shows.

Many many helmetless morons. I just yell "Helmet" right in their face as I ride by. Maybe they will get the hint.

Conditions are nearly perfect and there is basically no mud to speak of.

Get out and enjoy it.

Pay up your Jorba dues if you are slacking.
