6 Mile Run Conditions

Deluge last night. Ground was already damp so don't count on it being rideable for several days assuming weather stays dry and warm. Steel bridge area on Blue was a mudfest already on Saturday.

Awesome to see a well-attended NICA race Sunday! Course was great. Hats off to all who did work to get it all done.

I think @jdog went around and sprinkled his hero dirt compound dust on the course the night before the race because once the kids raced it, the course turned immediately to hero dirt.

This was no easy task. I moved a LOT of dirt to make this happen.

I had a feeling it would be wet and a cut some new sections and got really creative to make this work. The revions to RED are going to be super helpful as this is often the wettest part of the park.

I know it may have looked reckless to some to have run the race after such recent rain, but the kids there will tell you, it wasn't wet.

I started in Jaques and road the new red reroute and it was a little greasy on the top, took the "unmarked" red trail out to canal and there were a few puddles. road the rest on the tow path. Conditions were not ideal the tow path had alot of puddles. I don't think the rest of the park is set to ride. This weekend should be good though.

Supposed to pour on Saturday, might get lucky early

I'm going to try to give it a go around 930ish if you want a riding partner.
Will have to play it by ear, I have limited time tomorrow. I was planning to get there closer to 9 (riding there from home) and just doing the canal side loop. Will check the lot when I get there: black salsa horsethief ridden by a geezer

Sounds good. If you see an orange F150 or a gray Giant SS HT, that's me.
