@Robin how big (diameter) is the tree, roughly? 8” or smaller?

General notes when reporting a trail issue:
  • Description of the issue and location
  • Post a picture if you can
  • Post the GPS coordinates
    • For iPhone, Hit the i button, then the place name in the lower right. A map will open coordinates will be on the left. Long press on the coordinates box after you release, press the copy pop-up. Paste the value with your report.
    • MTBNJ strips the coordinates from photos. That’s why you should post them.
  • If it's a fallen tree, the rough diameter of the largest part
This helps us to know what tools to bring out ahead of time and the most direct route to the issue.

These “sitrep” reports of issues are extremely helpful. Thanks! Anything that is an obstruction should be reported and someone will get it.

As a guide, if anyone clears something (logs, branches, etc) off the trail, be sure to clear about 2’ on either side. That way when we run the brush hog, it’s much easier.

It’s an entangled sapling mess across the trail. A few arms sized with vines wrapped.

How's the overgrowth, especially on the trails from middle Bush to 27? Last time I rode a couple weeks back red and orange were pretty bad especially with poison ivy.
