6 Mile Run Conditions

ah, first time. the turns come up quickly and continuously! fun-fun.

hopefully catch up with you there soon. may hit it at lunch time today.

I wish I could bug out of here today but the friggin meetings are non stop. Hey tomorrow is road bike fitting day ... hopefully I come home with a new bike. Road trip this weekend

Some people got caught out there hard... As I was heading back to the car I felt the low pressure coming down... Great day to ride being that it was nice and cool

Trails were great today I was on foot with Tyson

As I was on south middlebush, I saw a guy wanting to cross, as we all know the feeling of people not stopping, I stopped and the guy was so thankful! He must of been there for some time. Any way...I saw they had some "pre" cross walk lines...now we have to wait for a sign stating its a state law to stop.

I have the best luck when I stand beside my bike and sort of stand in the road .

Just hit a tree in a twisty - I still pretty much suck - but at least I'm dialing up the speed. Getting there...

Oh and I almost fell off jay's new bridge. Just when I was getting over my fear of bridges too.

The problem with 6-mile is that is maintained too well. There isn't nearly enough erosion, unkempt root gullies, and random tree stumps to keep me on my toes.

I literally FLEW up and over my own handle bars on the red trail Tuesday... I'll be back next week.

You talking about this bridge?

No not that bridge - I'm too skeered to go over that one (at least the high one on the left). It's the bridge over the creek near the end of Blue just after the long boardwalk. They replaced the logs with boards but it's still kind of narrow. I tossed jdog a Home depot gift card - hoping he slaps up some railings on that thing

That would be this one -

It is easier going towards canal lot (this view) than away from it.

the platform on top of the mud on the canal side made it much easier - as it reduced the "slide" and "hole" before the ramp.

MSH - the OTB dismount is one of my favorites - especially if it is more of a leap-frog landing on your feet!

rode that "high log thing" 4 times. That was enough. The scary stream crossing bridge by the boardwalk I used do ONLY towards the lot, but now I do it both ways since its been "fixed."

Dont worry about falling off, its a water landing 😀

So far the only obstacle there is the HUGE log with that cutout. Someday I will do it, just not today.
