6 Mile Run Conditions

I was there early morning. The trails are in very good shape besides being too dusty. Some rain would make conditions perfect.

Started raining here about 7pm, its not too heavy but if it lasts for a while it will be a mess tomorrow.

I'm 5 miles west and barely got any rain. sun has already dried up most of it.

Rick & DC are 1mi west, and reported heavy rain in the afternoon, and more overnight.

Recommend a delayed start, should dry quickly enough with the sun and breeze.

Matt - best to start from rt 27, blue trail needs the most time to dry. (but u probably knew that.)

couple of us are meeting at MCP at noon - we'll be too slow for you two, but throwing out the option.

It poured in New Brunswick last night, personally I am going to avoid six mile this weekend.

it should be fine for the weekend. this drier air and sun will still take care of it relatively quick... but it will need some time today.

Aint that somethin'; Me getting advice from someone North of 80 that rides a singlespeed road bike in NYC... :hugs:

Matty was right, everything was great.

How many beers did you pack for that adventure.

Pearls congrats. Yeah not to often us Canadians get down your way B-)

I did a full loop yesterday morning and all the trails were in good shape. Just a couple of puddles here and there. The one thing you need to be on the look out for are the hunters. Saw a group of 5-6 bow hunters decked out in camo near the bridge where the blue and red trail meet/split. Make sure you make some noise on the trails. Another suggestion, don't wear white. You don't want to be mistaken for the ass end of a deer :scared:

Could anyone report the conditions on the trails? I am planning to ride a small loop (blue, red, white) today after work. I know 6mr got some rain on Monday, so I wonder if the trails are dry already.
