Allamuchy North Conditions

Dang. I wish i knew you were going to that Im off today and would have given you a hand. Im literally 2 miles away.
Im off Saturday though and could help you finish if you like
Thanks. No worries. Today was last minute. I'm planning to be there at 9 on Saturday if your bored but dont worry about it. Hoping i can put 4 or 5 wraps of chain on it and roll it off the road with my truck up in the field vs the saw.

I’d just call the road dept, or park to bring put their loader for that hunk.
Hmm you gave me an idea. I have a friend who knows the tranquility farm people very well. Those corn fields are theirs so they have a common interest. Their entry road is right across from the trailhead road. I contacted my friend. He told me he is gonna let them know. They can get a machine there way faster than the park or road department.

Good idea. Save your saw and your truck.

There were a couple more on the lumpy bypass.
I’m the only one making tracks on anything I did all day. It was slow going and moderate resistance the whole ride.
Called it quits around noon

I hiked this counter clock direction.
Question for you fellas that know. When I got to the top I noticed an unblazed, unmapped trail on my left and took it. You can see where I hiked it. Outside of 1 blowdown then rest of the trail was recognizable and rideable.
Just wondering why its not mapped or marked. Is it not an official sanctioned trail ?
Anyway it was a good hike. Picking up my bike today 😀

That's an old OG trail that is still open more recently in pass couple years. It was abandoned when cardiac bypass was built.
We still ride it on a regular but could use some love.
