Alloy nipples?

I had OEM alloy nips that came on my 2011 Giant Trance (factory blue of course). In the 7ish years of owning it, I had to replace about 3-5 cracked nips - usually on rear wheel. @knobbyhead can count the non-blue nips to get an exact count if he hasn't changed the wheelset since buying the bike from me.

Why can’t they make colored brass nipples?

I should probably stick to brass since I beat the sh*t out of my DH rims and constantly need to true them.

I broke a bunch more and bought a replacement wheel as a result.

I've had them corrode from driving in snow/salt conditions with the bike in the back.
