Amother 100K for the books

Saturday, 6 fat bike riders left Brendan Byrne Office at 7:15 and returned at 5:00. 8:22 moving time, 9:51 total time, 63.2 miles. That info was from one of the riders. After lunch, 53K, we road 24K all sand no let up. Could not do that with out a fat bike. Rain held off until we had 5K to go. Then it came down hard. I don't think fun, and 10 hours of riding can be said together, but, we were glad of two things. One- that we did it, and two-that it was over.

Do it! It's a blast, more versatile than you'd expect and you don't need to break the bank to do it. Especially if you go the second hand route.

I have been keeping an eye on Craigslist for a fat bike but have not seen one in XL yet! Once I do I will pull the trigger!

Wendy does not go for the long rides. I have a hard time getting her out for the Wharton 40(plug---Oct.17,2015). This is not Sue's year, and we should leave it at that.
