does any one ride back beach or the top of skyline drive:confused: theres a couple of good single trails there and if u start from skyline drive at the top u can go down to back beach its good to have 2 cars thow if u dont want to climb back up its a good ride thow or u can ride the power line and then ur still at the top if u dont want to go down the hill

The Back Beach area just contains ATV trails. I used to ride in there as a kid. Are you crossing the Wanaque River towards Skyline drive? If so, where?

The area around Skyline Drive is Ramapo Mtn State Forest. There is some worthwhile riding in there. It can be accessed from a dozen different locations. The Cannonball Trail starts in Pompton Lakes near the DuPont facility and runs north through the park.

Just don't confuse Back Beach with the stuff on the other side of the river. Back Beach is nothing more than a town park in the woods. Ramapo Mtn State Forest is a whole new ball game.
 
C'mon guys, he's just a kid in High School... go easy on him.

Rockhoper, stay in school, study hard, write in complete sentences and paragraphs and don't use texting language... they'll leave you alone. Even better, they'll start talking to you about riding and they'll stop bashing you. Like your teacher says, spelling does count.

Educate yourself on this site so you know the culture. Follow the unwritten laws and you'll do fine. Then go on some beginner rides to get a taste for the real trails around you. Many of us ride Skyline and there's more to it then a trail to the lake and the power line.
