Backyard trails

That’s a hell of a backyard!

We may end up with .1-.2 miles when all is said and done but it’s quite circuitous and becoming more-so daily.

Please check calculations...

You're either 75% done, or will have a 1.5 mile loop.

I have a few loops that look like a chain - it takes a minute to ride the whole thing. Going to build one more loop off the furthest one out and pop in some more wood/built features (only have one bridge, and one skinny and a couple obstacles).

I built one in the winter but now it's about to get taken over by Japanese knotweed 🙁
That shit infested my yard when i lived by the bay. Stalks would grow from sprout to damn near 20' high in just a single season! Took me years of yanking it out and constant weed wacking to keep it minimized.

Pour a little glyphsate out on the curb for you homie. ?

I actually did a good job with the area we built our kids' swing set on top. Pulled as much out as possible, tarp on top, dirt on top of that. Been 3 years and never came back. Other parts I just mow it down no problem, and honestly if i cleaned up the rocks and debris where the rest grows I could mow that too. Maybe one weekend i'll clean the debris up so I can just continue mowing it. Idk. Sucks because it blocks my view of the lake too.

It is more of a garage tour but the backyard looks sick! I love how his drop-in is right outside his office. And his garage tour might give us an idea or 2 in this time of home quarantine.

PS. crazy that his hardtail frame from IH is from 2002. I remember when that came out and thinking that era was new school. Back in the Hcor.net days.

Here is his backyard setup tour:
