Bad Driving

I would especially like to hear @Carson 's response to this. I was on the road for most of the day earlier in the week and saw the same thing twice. A slow driver, doing ~60 mph in the far left lane with no vehicles to the right of it when a NJSP cruiser pulls up directly behind it with minimal following distance. Thinking I was going to get to see just desserts, I slowed to watch from a good distance away. In both cases after 3-4 minutes the front car never puts on a turn signal, never speeds up and the cruiser just passes on the right and keeps going. I have seen a difference when the car puts on the turn signal thats when the lights go on and theyre pulled over. Whats up with this?

I've seen Po Po turn there lights on, and when the person pulls right they turn them off.

I'm not sure anyone looks in their rearview.

Probably on the way to dunkin donuts and didn't want the hassle of pulling the guy over for a warning.

I've seen this as well. It's frustrating. Yes, maybe on occasion the trooper has to poop. But I've seen it enough that they clearly aren't bothering with enforcement of the statute. There can't be than many pooping troopers.

The best was the video of a Trooper on RT80 pull up behind a left lane cruiser, light them up then had them pull over on to the shoulder with the Trooper then jumping back into the highway. Epic and just deserts served.

I am reminded of the sliding scale of speeding fines in Switzerland (and apparently Finland, and other countries I'm sure).

For certain offenses, they base the fine amount on the severity of the offense and your salary.
This article references a Swiss speeding ticket that exceeded 1 million CHF (Swiss Francs).
I had seen that this was reduced in court to CHF 37,000, which is still a lot of scratch

Standard game of landscaping truck chicken on the local roads.

i had one today - p/u truck has plenty of time to pull into my lane, and get back to let me through.
someone a couple hundred meters back follows him, and sees me as the truck clears my lane.
I saw him, but that didn't stop me from giving him a scare!

Would bad walking on a road count here? i was behind her for 3-4 minutes.
Since she was pushing a stroller i wasn't going to beep or try to sneak by.
Finally turned around, after her hubby that was walking on the sidewalk behind me said something.

Had seen it in internet memes but never thought I'd see in person. Dude driving along with the gas hose sticking out of his car. Bunch of folks pointed and honked and he did a quick u turn back toward the station. Didn't have time to get a pic.

Thought I was going to witness a murder today. I merged onto rt 23 today going home and saw a guy out of his car screaming at the car in front of him. The first car passed me and the angry driver them came past doing at least 90 to catch the first guy. They then line up side by side in front of me and come to a complete stop in the middle of the road. I give them a beep and then the angry dood goes from the slow lane and cuts in front of the other car and parks to block him. Other dood goes around as do I and then the chase is back on. I went onto the shoulder to let the lunatics pass and have at it. I let them go to take my turn and continue my drive home. Don't know the outcome. Anything on the news? Lol.

Another fuckwit on Rt70. I bet he nearly shit his pants when he saw those headlights coming head-on after the pickup made his pass.
