Beginner paced rides: anyone interested?

Sorry folks but I've got weekend commitments till the Fall which don't allow for organized rides. Hope someone can keep the momentum till I'm back

Slowly getting back, you'll likely start seeing more rides here at Chimney Rock this Fall. 9am, gravel lot. About 10-15 miles. Should finish by noon. As always beginner friendly, no drop. Post up if I should look for you.

Solo ride today at Cromwell but had some familiar flybys. Next week will be at Dickerson Mine or Lewis Morris. Day will be decided by mid week.

Hmm. I've ridden tubeless tires for over 20 years now. In all that time I've never gotten a flat from a root. Are people still using tubes?
It was tubeless last time I rode the bike at LewMo, but got a flat from something and the sealant wouldn't seal it. Threw in a tube and had been fine except today. Yeah, all three were tube pinch flats. To be fair the ancient Sram Rise 60 rims are really narrow. Swapped in a DHF as that's all I got around the house and all good.
