Berms and Jumps and Flow

FFT - I was thinking how good that spot was looking when I took a little walk-about there yesterday. That berm is a real work of art and it looks great how everything is just packed in. Even the brakeless wonder tribe weren't snotting those burly landers.

I got a couple sets going on our outside line. Was sick of digging dry dirt and figured I'd see if that berm/squirrel catcher I built over the winter would work.

Like you said - rain is needed.

We didnt even ride yesterday, well maybe 4 runs each. We just sat around and reflected on the last month and a half. At times it was tough, lips caving in, gaps too far, too close, too steep, too flat, too much rain, no rain, bad wrecks, sticks - sticking out of the head......but as soon as the foliage filled in the hard work paid off. This photo seems to illistrate how quiet and peaceful our segment of the sport can be. When theres no more work to be done and we wait for rain there is a sense of accomplishment that comes from just looking back at what we have.

Looking good, I have to come shoot there again. I am back in town, lets plan the south trip.

I'm pretty sure the last trails are the infamous French ones that have had pictures posted all over the place with the in/out berm setup. I can only imagine the amount of man hours into that place.

Here are a couple shots from the day at Diablo. Miller going flat on the big bike.
