E2M program Round 5, Wk 7, Day 6

Diet
Still sticking to the plan, mostly. Been hungry and breaking my fasting a little earlier. Keeping it more of just a snack of PB and honey on a slice of bread, or apple with some PB. Had a stress eating day on Thursday, work is a little shitty right now with things being very slow, upper management is pointing fingers. Anyway, there was also chocolate and cake involved in the stress eating. I will pat myself on the back for avoiding the office wedding shower party for a hetero dude, none of the shitty food looked good anyway. Last weekend was Harvest Fest and had a few too many beverages after eating an awesome meatball parm at the local. Today we're heading east to the area near the birthplace of the Jersey Devil for some seafood.

Exercise
Circuits and C25K training continues. Rode outside on Tues morn, my hands never warmed up. I need to review the "What will Kevin wear" thread. Thurs attempted an FTP test on the spin bike that I don't think worked properly on the Garmin 520. Walked at lunch, weather permitting. Yesterday's run was 5min walk, 18min jog and 5 min walk. Heading out for a local ride after typing, then tomorrow is a big adventure from SJ to Philly and back with a few of the team dudes. A very well known beer bar in the city is a stop on the return trip.

Weight
1/2/22 Starting weight = 235.4
10/8/22 (current weight =174.8
Diff: weekly up 1, total lost = 60.6
Back to weighing in 1x/week. Not going to be too concerned about the fluctuations. Just going to keep this going.
E2M program Round 5, Wk 8, Day 7

Diet
Moving along as usual. Had a few stress eating snacks during the week. Went to a wedding on Friday evening at Yards Brewing in Philly. Open bar and not so great choices of food. Kept it light and we did an Irish goodbye to get home at a decent hour since I was making the drive to CR in the morning on Saturday. Had some pizza and ice cream for dinner after the CR ride and an afternoon of yardwork.

Exercise
Circuits and C25K. Trainer rides T and Th. Walks at lunch every day. 1st time riding at Chimney Rock and had a good time. Coming into the final week of the C25K plan I'm following and the 5k is Friday night in Cape May at 7:30pm.

Weight
1/2/22 Starting weight = 235.4
10/23/22 (current weight =174.6
Diff: weekly down .2, total lost = 60.8
I did weigh myself yesterday before the CR ride and I was a little heavier with beer and bar food in me. Today is the last day of this round of E2M, so figured I see where I was at.

There is an off week of the program to keep things in line for 8wks sessions to finish the year out. Sign-ups open in 3 days and the next 8wk session will begin on 10/31/22

What is the cut off weight to be categorized as a fat bastard?
It's all relative to what you perceive is fat bastard status. As others have mentioned on here, nobody said anything when I was definitely in fat bastard territory, but now told I'm too skinny. Truth be told, I could probably lose another 10. My wife gets the "you didn't have 40lbs to lose".

another question... you wear a 32 inseam but use your pants as a mop... are you still a 32 inseam?
Obviously... asking for a friend

I dont think that waist to inseam is the cut off to fat bastarddom lol I do pass the test at 30 / 30 but It dropped out of fat bastard territory long before I hit size 30 pants.

Been in a approximately 500 cal deficit for 15 of the last 18 days, around maintenance for 2 and 1 not so great day but still not full on disgusting. Trending back downward weight wise chipping away at the body fat I put back on over the past few months. Been pretty good most days hunger wise but today I'm friggin starving well see how I make out the rest of the day. The bottom 2 abs had gone missing but are starting to make an appearance again ... would like them in full view by Christmas 🎄

When I got sick my wife put me on an antiangiogenic diet that basically consists of organic fruits and veggies, organic or grass raised meats, chick pea or other non wheat pastas, organic milk and cheeses, and no sugars. I went from 245# to 180# and not sure if it was the disease or the diet, but I’ve maintained that for over 2 years now. I only jumped on this thread because I feel cheat meals are very important. I will admit I cheat on my diet with the worst possible shit from time to time and now that we added a cheat meal, I look forward to that and am less likely to eat total crap on other days. I wish you all the willpower to achieve your goals and commend you all for taking steps to better your diets and lifestyles. Had I not gotten sick I would probably still be a fat bastard and still saying to myself that I’m just big boned. Keep up the good work!!

Alright. After 3 months or so of stress eating, crappy sleep, and no exercise; I'm getting back to it. My lowest weight a few months ago was 163. I weighed it this morning at 178. Moving was stressful and I let myself indulge. But that's all history now and there's blue skies ahead. Calorie counting started back up today, so did healthier choices. After moving I found a liquor store with a great beer selection. I've gotta try to avoid that place and very slowly empty the fridge I started to fill. Feels good to be getting back to normal. Picture of the kids enjoying their new home.
