bridge stolen

just cant imagine someone would go through the effort of "stealing" it by carrying it completely out of the park.

Please reference the disappearing bridge at Mercer it does literally completely disappear out of the park nowhere nearby. People do put effort into doing this unfortunately.

wow. then some people (i.e., people who go through the effort of stealing a bridge) are in serious need of a life. there has to be better ways to spend your time.

re: the "vandalism" thing (ie, tossing it into nearby woods) I could easily see happening. a spontanous act of vandalism by a bunch of bored teenagers. just as unfortunate, but not too unexpected.

but removing it completely takes a bit more effort and a little forethought...and a complete lack of something (or someone) better to do to occupy your time.

Instead of building another bridge here, we could raise the tread of the trail like the "Alexi Highway". It would be hard to steal a raised tread trail.. :hmmm:

Somewhere there is a large group of guys in a warehouse stripping down bridges in a chop shop

Let's hope they didnt chop it down to use as fire wood... From here on out, we should put alarms or boobie traps on the remaining bridges so that no one takes em. Maybe even a bear trap on the most obvious one... Once we trap the perp, we take them out of the woods, over to the ocean, and feed them to the sharks! :hmmm::getsome:
