Nice find!!

When I was a teenager my dad had a stock, dark green GT 1600 with tan interior. The car was mint and handled great, at least from the passenger seat. It was slated to be my first car. Unfortunately, at the time, I was into 90s vw gti's and mustangs, so he decided to sell it.

Later on I learned that the weight saving, steering feedback, etc was intentionally built into it from the factory. Awesome!

I was a dumbass there & would love to find one now to restore.

huh...I was wondering for a second if that was the same British car company Austin...then i saw the hood ornament. Makes sense they made trucks too, just dont think I have ever seen one, neat.

I got a new toy today at work. The equipment installer must have hired Helen Keller because the install sucks. Redoing a few things at DPW because I can't refuse delivery on this one.

Four years to go...this might be my last new patrol vehicle!

Nice. These PPV's have the all wheel drive with the 5.7, right?

Yep. AWD and Hemi. It sounds really, really nice for a patrol car. They are usually really quiet. I figured out how to shut off the DRLs today so I can be sneaky. The DRLs were very bright. I had to rip across town today for a call and it moves out and handles well.

Nice. Dodge doesn't make an AWD RT model in the production, non PPV lineup anymore. Does it have the 8 speed too?
I'm considering a charger for my next car.
