what's the real miles on a full charge? also how long to charge?lol that was my parent's Prius long gone. However, I still borrow there Avalon hybrid for long trips and I fucking enjoy it for what it is.
I like all cars for the use it's built for. Just like bikes.

I'll take the SI sedan in blue > GTI. I regret selling my '99. I like the new SI. What's not to love about great fuel economy, fun drive, and good price. I drive 130+miles a day, about 5 days a week. Model 3 or some other Tesla will be for my wife but I may drive it time to time. We have a Nissan Leaf bought for $6k, averaging 10,000 miles/year. It has a heated steering wheel and seats. Suck it.

my daughter's getting a car at end of year and hadn't thought of an e-car till now
thanks, that was my next question on whether you got the 240v charger in the garage. That's another investment to put one in. Now if I can decide if she wants a Leaf or GTI....I can get close to the range estimator with good driving habits 80+ miles but 70ish on full charge and normal/mix use. Highway kills the range. Local is where it shines. Winter 50ish miles. Wife commutes 3 miles and generally local driver. It's our family car most days.
I only use a regular 120v. Charge overnight. If my day involves more than 70ish miles I'll either push it or take gas car. takes like 14 hours from empty to full. I've never been stranded with good planning and plenty of L2 chargers to drop in for like 15-30min just go be safe if needed which I've done like once a year. On third year with an electric car. No issues with good planning.
does it matter?
I wish I could, but my panel is packed, would need a electrician to add in an aux panel to make it happenUpdated previous post...
Also, you can just get a regular 240v outlet (electric dryer outlet) installed and use the cable provided with car. Not as much money.
who cares. It's still going to be worth $400k+ anytime unlike your Viper. Money is irrelevant because the cost of these supercars are not for normal schlubs like us. Viper don't sound like that.
For 400 grand? Yes. A Dodge Viper is faster, looks better at 1/4 the price.
