Car-spotting thread

Happy. At sane speeds, it feels just like the GT3. A little softer ride but the turn-in is great and the twin turbo makes it feel quicker from a stop than the GT3 was. The GT3 felt more like a motorcycle engine: the quicker you went the quicker it felt. High RPM speed. The low end torque of the TT feels great on the street. Very happy to have a manual to row again. Only once yesterday did I attempt to downshift via paddle lol. Obviously the car needs to be broken in, but below 4500RPM, it's surprisingly peppy.

The interior is such a step up. I really don't care about the entertainment/NAV crap, but it's obviously a huge leap forward from the 991. More importantly the ergonomics are perfect, pedal placement is great, and the shifter/clutch feel are sublime. And the seats are a little more comfortable than in the 991. I love the seat pattern and contrast stitching; I almost skipped the interior package as $6900 is ridiculous, but I'm glad to have it now that the check has been written.

The car sounds better than I expected but it's no GT car. But I knew that. Overall I'm thrilled to have the exact car I ordered/wanted and it's exactly as the reviews described and I expected.

I once drove a 944 turbo. I was amazed at the ergonomics on this vehicle. I sat in the seat and the shifter just landed in my hands.

I'm not surprised the ergonomics in this vehicle are amazing.

It literally took me 30 seconds to find the perfect seat and wheel position. It's spoiled me for other cars. My GLI is very good, too. I drove a 22 Cadillac Escalade 600 blah blah something. $95,000. The GLI seating position is FAR better.

Speaking of acty vans… saw this Saturday on the shop ride and then when I zoomed in the pic it looks like something Suzuki from the logo. And I’m pretty sure sitting on my 58cm road bike I am taller than this van.

Then I laughed when I saw the passengers expression (remember these are RHD) from me taking a pic. LOL.

Most manufacturers had some form kei truck and van. Subaru, Daihatsu, Mutsubishi, and Honda also have them.
