Car-spotting thread

You'll get some dogshit six cylinder, most likely. Check out turo.com and see what's in the area. It's generally privately owned vehicles but some are probably fleet vehicles. I think the C7Z is but not totally sure.

Visited Newport, RI over the weekend. Forecast had rain for our Fri arrival, so we planned some indoor activities. Went to the Audrain Auto Museum. Current exhibit is Sweet Rides, Summer Fun featuring cars and surfboards. Here's a few of my pics.

This custom Stingray was in a bike rack outside 1 of the many watering holes in the wharf area.

A Switzerland resident Australian pilot driving an Aventador was caught by the Police doing 311 Kmh (193 Mph) on the GRA (highway loop around Rome), where the absolute top speed limit is 130 Kmh (80 Mph) but depending on the location can be as low as 110 Kmh (65 Mph) or even 45 Kmh. The Police patrol that chased him managed to tail him for about 15 miles, then he stopped when he realized he was being chased. Car was confiscated, the driver licence revoked (not sure how since it's not Italian, he will probably report it lost once he goes back home) and he was fined 2000 euros (which the driver most likely will never pay as he resides in Sitzerland) and selfies were taken!

Not sure if the Police patrol was driving one of the two Huracans that have been donated to the Police by Lamborghini, the news wouldn't say.

Followed a 928 north on 202 from Flemington to Somerville - had historic plates so assuming late 70s. And didn't sound stock at all. Canary yellow like this
