Cars, it's electric! Do Do Do

Is it tru they dropped CarPlay & AndroidAuto for some new Google thing?

It is in the electrics. Also available in my 2024 yukon.

They run a version of Android with it's own play store. Some apps run natively and are more tightly integrated with the car. Full screen, use the HUD, are ev aware. Carplay runs in a small window

Is that the Grizzl-e smart? I still haven't installed mine. My breaker box is so full but trying to figure if I can add two more tandems

It is!

Could always add a small sub panel, and move the small stuff over. Doesn't require a main if right next to main panel. Probably a few hundy if the wires reach. Buy the same brand so the breakers move.

Total diy on that.
Get the sparky for the EVSE tho. Mine is coming to do the heavy lifting
That is a sub panel with undersized wires for the need. Also need load shedding for the generator cause they didn't build.that in

subscriptions and recurring billing!
in app purchases.
"For $1, I can give you a route that is 15 minutes faster!"

btw - this is going to be a thing with self driving cars.
People will be able to buy priority - as in other cars in the hive will let them merge earlier.
Lower priority will take slower routes to avoid congestion.

I look forward to grumpy-old-man-in-analog-car jumping in the self-driving-hive roads. 😆

How many people supercharge regularly? $26 for 100 miles at EVgo electricity is not great for even an ice vehicle. Having some charge issues and I'm doing a test for my dealer

I am 100% supercharging, got no home charger. I know its crazy. :Ugh:
That's crazy.
My wife has 8 free charging spots at work but it's hard to snag one during the day when she works. She only works 3 miles away. I might start parking the car there at night and just run or bike to and from so I don't have to charge it at home 🤣. I can't imagine paying super charger pricing all the time.

We have about 100 spots around my work site. And you have to get in by 6:30am to get a spot. I'm usually in by 6:15, so rarely a problem but only charge on Mondays and Thursdays as I have plenty of juice in between. You're supposed to leave your spot when it's full but people rarely do and we even have a MS Teams channel to help facilitate. I ended up forming my own group and the 5-6 of us are good about letting each other know when we're able to do a swap. With such reliable charging, I still haven't gotten around to added a sub panel to install my home charger. Maybe a summer project
