Category for Plus + bikes?

Since Plus bikes (26+, 29+, 27.5+) are all the rage, how about a dedicated category for those bikes?

I don't race so it doesn't matter but as a rider of a 27.5+ I like saying "I'm not fat, just a plus size"

I guess it could happen eventually, fat bikes have a class. Any bike slower then a 29er needs a Special class.

Give it a little time. You will see it more and more. When someone passes you the other way on a 27x 2.8 it is really hard to tell it apart from a 29x 2.35.

A class for plus would be silly as it has the same rollout as a 29er anyway.

Just about all the brands are putting a big focus on 27+ for the next model year. They all love it as they can make 2 wheel sizes of bike with just one frame.

Yeah how can there be that many around yet when they just became available (at least from some manufacturers). I ordered mine last fall and just got it 5 weeks ago.

So if fat bikers claim that fat bikes are faster than 29ers, and + bikers claim that + bikes are faster than fat bikes, how many revolutions does a 26er roll when riding in between a fat bike and a + bike but in front of a 29er?
