I just got a nautical jewlery catalog attached to a magazine the other day and the prices were insane - some in the 10's of 1000's for a platinum chain necklass with the link in the shape of an anchor chain.

Hobby related jewlery is way overpriced!

I also rate it cheesy now, but I wouldn't have said that 20 years ago.

I got my wife a pair of earrings that look like gears. It's both cheesy and cool. The only jewelry I wear is my wedding band which is tungsten carbide.

I think it's a pretty cool idea. That thing would probably cause the adjoining fingers to develop blisters not too long after wearing it though.:hmmm:
