Chimney Rock Conditions

Everything I did today was dry and good to go.
The down tree I posted Wednesday was still there as of noon today (Friday).
A big thank you to Kirt, Ryan and the high tech guys for trail mods completed today in the Cromwell section. A great idea to employ a technique that I’m sure will be stable for a long time. The guys doing the heavy lifting trail work in CR like the above mentioned as well as the many others who put this blood, sweat and monumental effort deserve all the credit in the world for keeping this place a main stay for our community.
Thank you.

tree down at blue interior. Too heavy to move it, I only managed to flip it.

Come up on three kids, maybe 13 on electric motos this morning. They were polite and not ripping it up but I still had to be “the old man” and remind them that it’s not legal. I know they don’t care but I still had to waste my breath.
Trails were fast and very dry. A little loose in some corners.

Go hard on these guys every time.
