Cycling-focused channel on cable

I've stumbled upon the Universal Sports channel yesterday.

This has as much as 50% programming focused on cycling.

For instance, right now they're showing the Tour de Basque, Spain.

After that they have MTB- Avalance Trophy in Are, Sweden.

At 6pm they are showing the UCI Coclo Cross World Championships in Hoogerheide, Netherlands.

I have Comcast in Mercer County, here it is channel 249. They also have curling. I think they had some other content provider before, which focused on figure skating.

Just passing this on.

Nice. I think its 567 for Verizon Fios. Never seen it. Ill check when I get home.

Edit: Just called home. Law and Order is on. 🙁

I watched the Tour of California on Universal. I don't remember what channel it was on Cablevision.

I have no TV so this is irrelevant to me... but it amazes me how we have to "stumble across" a channel like this... when spending a few $ to advertise on a few websites (Velonews? RM? mtbr?) for a few months would probably get them a crap-load of viewers pretty quickly.
😕

I think that is 110 on cablevision but lately it was a lot of cross country skiing and speed skating.

yeah, they must have just flipped the switch to "spring" b/c it's been skiing, bob sledding, and figure skating since i found this channel existed.

Universal Sports (110) has some great stuff like the avalanche (super D) cup and cross races but it's the same stuff over and over again. not a lot of inventory.

Versus in the channel with the good road races, TOC, TdF etc. Still no Giro slated for this year I believe.
