Dragons are F'ing Awesome

all this talk of PEDs got me thinking.

you know what would be an amazing experiment?

if someone openly admitted to using PEDs while training for the H2H season, then went out and decimated the field week in and week out (actually, cross may be an even better example).

would they still officially win the series and get the jersey or would they get disqualified?

to clarify, i'm talking the maybe steroids but maybe not type supplements that can be purchased at Nutrition Zone

Go for it meathead, you seemed versed in this stuff.

there is an interesting book, "The Doper Next door" by Andrew Tilin. I read it a few months ago when the DA story broke. The author experiments with T for a year. It's a pretty interesting read. He experiences an increase in performance on and off the bike. The rest of the story is sort of like reading Norm's blog but without pictures and no comments from the Peanuts gallery.

6th graders could be "mr pick things up and put them down" with the 97% of the people i'm referring to.

😀

I do this a lot actually. Strange thing is the weights are measured in fluid ounces, and they get a little bit lighter each time I pick them up.

If you are racing Pro or CAT1 a USAC license is required and the race is sanctioned by USAC. I'm not the rules guy, but when you sign that waiver you are agreeing to all the rules which include PED's. If you got tested and failed you would be DQ'ed and likely suspended. FWIW - I have never heard of USAC testing anyone at an H2H race but I think they can.

And Jake can you send me txt or PM with the name of that stuff from Nutrition Zone.

I think we should have a nutrition and training thread for those of us who are less, um, "aerodynamic". Titled "Cupcakes, Bacon, and Couches". We can talk about which hand the remote works best in, who makes the best cheese fries, and which sweatpants have the most forgiving waistband. 😀 No one under, say 190lbs allowed. Unless you're 4'6". 😉

That would be extreme, totally. You start, others will follow.

Beer fueled calories are double bonus points. Win!

Stb222-c'mon, its gotta be more fun than GU's, "recovery" drinks, powermeters, and KOM's, right?😀:getsome:

I can't relate other than the KOM thing, but still sounds extremely dumb 🙂. I vote for a contest to see who can list the most number of one eyed snake slang.

i'm getting close to being under 190 for the first time since i got the swine flu (which if you need to lose a lot of weight real fast i highly recommend). can we make it 185? i'm not even 5'9" so i wear 185 like most people do 200.

Height to weight ratios considered. Better, if you wear (not own, everyone makes mistakes) anything labelled "slim" fit, go away. 😀

Never met stb222, but I get a vice principal/model railroader/locksmith vibe. Whee!!
Edit: he does have a point, the "winner" of my thread gets their very own cardiologist, so there's that...

pfffft. slim fit. i have LEGS son. as a man of central-european origins, i'm optimally designed for endless hours of field labor. or war.

You would let in-person Kevin take your daughter out on a date.

You would call 911 on online Kevin if you saw him near your children.

100% true and factual.

Things I learned today:
Bonefishjake is a Goth! I don't mean the whiny ones who wear black and listen to Green Day, I mean the bad-ass ones who beat the Huns at their own game.

Stb222-either Dexter or your beloved son-in-law. Depends.:hmmm:

I am not sure that is quite the right description :hmmm:

So does this mean in 25 years when your potential daughter is 20 that I can take her out?
