Drones overhead tonight (many)

Thought we've moved onto other things. This is from 1 of the hometown FB pages. I watched the attached video in the 2nd screenshot and it looks like a planet or star.

That last comment is awesome. Town is solidly under the final approach to PHL.

Utah is going to kill me for posting this.. But, hey.. sometimes poking the bear is fun.

For what it is worth, I have only seen drones on 2 nights. One was the first day I posted this thread and one was a few days later.

revealing the fact that he knows the location of operatives is the first sign that he is full of shit.
If he did know, which he does not have the need to know, would get him arrested.
As would saying he knew, with the added bonus that it puts his whole family/circle at risk.

As I told @jdog I know many people who have a ts/SCI clearance.... The first thing the never do is tell people they have it

hmm, landing lights, belly beacon. red marker on left wing, white at tip of tail.
i'm not so sure about those blue and green tail lights tho. maybe onto something - my drone has those.

planes are set up to only see the marker lights from a certain angle, so their direction is known.
if they turn, the lights turn off, er, go out view. same with boats.

Current winds between 3,000 and 6,000 in AC are between 35-60mph blowing towards the southeast,
carrying the sound with them....directly away from LEH.

Probably repeated approaches into AC - all those corp jets look the same.

as an aside, because they have an ocean, which doesn't have any buildings or mountains,
there is a no-gyro approach - in the case of a full electrical failure, with loss of instruments,
they can talk a pilot in with primary radar in zero vis to 300' AGL
helps to have a compass and altimeter - which aren't electrical.
Controllers need to practice too, so call ahead to schedule it.

7 flew over my house 5:38 PM
If one stopped they all stopped moving
Sounded like a jet engine.
Following 100 back each one equal distance
Slower than a plane.
Can also hover.
No tail light on the rear

I'm not saying they weren't air planes.
I've never seen them fly over my house in that direction. So close together and with that many
They also were smaller than a lear jet. Much quieter.
THE PICTURE DOESN'T DO IT JUSTICE.
