I'm back to biking after an 8 year break. I rode a lot of hectic singletrack in the Finger Lakes/ Catskills in my twenties.
I bought a Hard Rock when I was recovering from an ACL redo a couple of years ago and have spent the time jamming around Hudson County, with gypsy buses, bambinas, and the big Weehawken cliff as obstacles.
I found this site through the bike shop in Ramsey and have done the Skyline Drive Upper Parking down to the lake and back a bunch of times.
I found some cutthroughs in the north end of NYC Central Park last weekend and went over the handlebars and had a laugh.
I am going to Plattekill in 3 weeks to rent and ride a full suspension bike for the first time.
I also go caving upstate and winter hiking in the ADKs.
I am fond of beer and good music.
I'm looking to find out about some casual but hectic rides in Jersey.
 
Weehawken....long way to go to a bike shop....although some people here are crazy like that too, but they go to one down south 😛
is that little hidden bike shop on Main street still open 😕😕

I have been away too long.
I have an old friend coming in next Monday from Texas and I'm going to take him through the Central Park stuff. There's actually a couple of good rips there but they're over in less than a minute.

Word. Unlike the others the bar was set way high for his first attempt and he failed. Sorta like that Dan guy who was the Olympic rage many moons ago and screwed the pooch by setting his first high jump attempt far too high.

The Russian judge likes you. But the Pollack (sp?) is waiting for the follow through.

Hey, I liked that he took a mean swing, and sometimes you don't connect, that's just part of the game. Next time though I'd expect results.
 
I admit I wasnt overly impressed, but then again I dont think I have ever impressed anyone here so I guess its a wash.

I"ll wait to see what kinda chicken, and more importantly what kind of beer show up
 
If this guy is still around when we have the picnic, and doesn't show with beer and chicken, he's banned for life.
