same goes for me, mine is a shoulder impingement and torn labrum which I chose not to repair. Doctor recommended against surgery unless I picked up a throwing or racket sport again. No dice. I can't lift my right arm over my head. I can get my hand to eye level and that's it. My Shoulder has maybe 50% range of motion. I can do dips and chin ups but not pull ups or overhead presses.
if you don't arch your back, the chest is not isolated, end up using more shoulder and back. My go to guy for lifting form is Vic Costa, he was my neighbors son, when I lived in Edison, he's got plenty of vids on YouTubeFeet further apart and back... On your toes.. Arch your back, elbows in... You look like a noodle...BITCH!
here's a way to get more out of push us, I don't understand why guys do 20 lightning fast push ups at a timeWhy the bench press? It just seems like something that's bad for the shoulders and does nothing for real fitness, especially on the bike. It's why I stopped going for high weight on it and just go with elbows in pushups.

other than chin ups, I like cable pulls 45 degrees from the floor. It was recommended by a trainer to strengthen the shoulder girdle
there's barely any movement you will do in life that bench pressing will help.
I randomly heard Flex-Able one day and my mind was blown. One of the few albums where the first listen resulted in "Yes! This is Awesome!"Missionary Position. You guys are obviously lacking the secret key to unlock the door to unlimited riding time.
PS-I seent that. They're playing Slayerville. Wanna go?
PPS-Steve Vai is playing in New Brunswick in a few weeks if any of my guitar nerd friends are into it. He's playing Passion and Warfare straight through.

deadlifts and bent over rows ftw
btw jimmy protest the hero is on tour this winter and coming to phill and sayreville

Better advice than anything I got while using a coach.Sounds like pushing your bike for 9 hrs. is the perfect training. Let me know if u need anymore training tips.

This is as far as I can arch. Feels the same but we'll know for sure tomorrow.
