It’s an online version of going to class. Except it’s cheaper because the models don’t have to drive to the studio. Everything else is the same, it’s always nude.

Project #100?

In the process of securing a new 7-string. Dream Theater is my favorite band and Steve is my favorite guitarist so I’m gonna build a Petrucci Universe. The OG DT fans might remember John’s original signature and Steve’s original UV7, if not…Here’s a mockup.

I’m hours into Per’s Project and have been coming up short on a cool lead idea. I figured out how to record myself at least, but not with my plugins. There’s a billion step tutorial on Neural’s site and I’ve done it with no success so I’m missing something. Maybe I need a MacBook from this decade.

Here’s some Dream Theater progress. I figured out most of this song but it’s a lot to do by ear. And it’s Dream Theater so it’s like 20 minutes long so it’s also not easy to remember all the parts. I did listen to the album on repeat during the ITI so I do have it memorized at least.

 
4-week PT Visit and Progress.

Can sort of walk with a cane around the house. Did some loops of the courtyard with the crutches. Went up and down the stairs foot over foot using the railing. We’re gonna try to get on the trainer next week, if I can sit on the saddle. 4 weeks to go so we’re halfway there.
 
I got antsy and jumped the gun. Took a while hobbling around to clear out my trainer area. And then to swap to flat pedals. And then figure out how to get on the bike without dying. But, I can totally pedal and it doesn’t feel like anything bad is happening. I broke in front of and above my sit bones so…Gonna try to do something longer tomorrow and see what it feels like. Still can’t walk though.

Making progress on Per’s Project. My leads are all improvised and we have to record video so I had to come up with a way to film and track at the same time. Otherwise I would have to improv the track and then relearn it to video it and that seems like a pain. I’m gonna also use the GoPro instead of my phone. I still have almost 3 weeks to get it right.
