Going Long and Hard.

I know, almost putting out peasant numbers 😂

Leg feels sort of ok after yesterday’s Zwift ride so I did another 30-minutes this morning a little harder and we’ll see how that goes. I’m not taking any Aleve or anything so I can actually feel what’s going on in there. I’m not supposed to be on the trainer until tomorrow so hopefully the PT Guy doesn’t yell at me…

If my leg feels good tomorrow I’ll do the next longer France Route, they’re all pretty short though.

Is it safe for you to ride cobble stones yet? AFAF

Does the PT Guy need to know that you rode?

Off course my current affliction is one that prevents me from sitting on a bike saddle but not from going to work...

4-weeks and 6-days, I walked across my living room and back 5 or 6 times unassisted. Doesn’t feel great but by this time next week I should be able to walk, and even better yet, go see MESHUGGAH!!

Spent a couple hours working on Per’s Project. Trying to get a cool camera angle with the GoPro.

Then spent more time doing my Blender Modeling Class. We’re making an Apple Scene, this is through Lesson 6.

Then spent some time practicing. One of the Girls sells sets of stills so you can practice without having 5-10 minutes each pose. About 20-minutes I can get something almost respectable.

5-week home PT follow-up. I checked a bunch of boxes off on my own during the week so we didn’t do much. I just have to keep doing what I’m doing, I’m pretty good at knowing how far to push and when enough is enough. Which is why I took today off from doing anything so I can recover from the last couple days. Last night was the first time in a while I was in any kind of discomfort but I also haven’t been taking Aleve or anything.

In theory I have 3 more weeks until I go back to work? Probably have another 4 weeks after that on light duty, 0% chance of pushing bikes upstairs in 3 weeks.

She's got a sprinter's body.

Trainer for longer today. This one went into some crazy climb after the route finished and I couldn’t pedal the bike. My legs stop working at like 300 watts and that’s not enough to climb on a track bike.

Then I worked on Per’s Project until about 5pm and kinda made progress in the right direction. At least I’m 90% on my lead now and just have to actually get it right on the recording. I can splice good sections together if it comes down to that.

Tried working more in colored pencil and blotched this one pretty hard. But whatever, it’s really just about doing it. At some point it might work itself out.
