Slice pizza is close by too. They have a pretty good vegan spicy meat lovers pie. And vegan donuts.![]()
Dig into Adventure - Plan Your Visit Today!
At Edelman Fossil Park & Museum of Rowan University, explore the epic story of deep time from the dinosaurs to today. It’s a place for learning through doing — from hands-on exhibits to the thrill of discovering your very own fossil.www.efm.org
Its going to have a space where you can help dig for fossils. There's a viewing windows into the lab area to see them working on fossils. It's a really cool Museum, plus there's a Chick-Fil-A right there and a Raising Canes not far.

Was super fun, not as much walking as I thought it would be. Although the lady at PT tried to kill me so I could barely walk out the office 😂

Ah, (more than) a few years ago we got selected to go dig for fossils in Mantua, NJ, in an old greensand quarry that they opened to small groups one day a year. That was cool. Had to catch a shuttle bus from the Lowe’s nearby. My kids were too small to appreciate fossil hunting at the time, but it was a huge sandbox for them to dig & dirty up. That was near Rowan, maybe related. It’s down in Rowan.

Sounds like the same exact quarry, the museum is built next to it, and it's right behind the Lowe's, lol.Ah, (more than) a few years ago we got selected to go dig for fossils in Mantua, NJ, in an old greensand quarry that they opened to small groups one day a year. Thank you for the semantic shift, now I can honestly say that I trained daily for years...Trained into NYC for Meshuggah.
We talked about going to the show but such a PITA to get in for us. If it was Philly we would have gone…looks like a great show!
Second day pushing myself.
Morning went to get my eyes checked and buy new glasses. Hobbled around Costco.
Trained into NYC for Meshuggah. Lots of stairs and people getting out of Penn Station and up into the Garden. Stood in all of the merch lines to buy things. Then went down a ton of stairs to my seat. Was a lot of effort but very worth it.

This morning I rode my kid’s commuter to PT. It’s OK on the way in but after the ladies break my will to live in PT, I can’t ride home yet. I can barely walk out of the office 😂
