Going Long and Hard.

Major Taylor Day 3.

Wandered around Jim Thorpe in the am before the group was ready to go. They went to a donut place for breakfast but there’s nothing vegan in PA so I had oatmeal in the room.

Rode out to the gorge and back.

Then I basically went off the front so I could catch the 2/3 race in Easton.

Stayed in Easton until almost 5pm before a group of us headed into Milford for dinner.

Camp was already setup from Friday so we didn’t have to do anything but chill.

Today we’re just heading to Somerville to button this trip up. It’s only like 35-miles or something.

Why are you dressed for Alaska?

Figured I’ll commute in with my sketchy death bike and hopefully get another 3 months off 😂

Kidding. But did actually strip it and start replacing stuff. Have a Zipp 404 to replace the broken front wheel. Also already have new bars. Swapped tires because the front one ripped apart. Need new levers and then the balls to swing a leg over it.

Not sure if this is where it all started, but the tube split down the seam. Makes sense with how fast the tire blew off. Also bent the rear dropout I guess when the bike hit the ground?
