That was a knife of choice in the 80s in NYC.Since we’re being all about nostalgic about replica quality “stuff” that shouldn’t have been sold to kids...... if I say 007, what comes to mind?
..... I told you it wasn’t mine. ?
But no, it’s a impractical sized lock-blade knife with wooden scales with gold 007 stamped on one side. The super cheap construction was the hallmark of all the trinkets at these types of flee-market booths.

Got mine at the Avenue F Flee-market on McDonald Ave (Under the train tracks). ?There was one even larger than that that I bought in Korvettes in Queens back in the 70’s. Was almost a foot long when opened.
Yeah. The color is weird to capture. It's like Mint.
Not purple? 😛

yeah very sad...i was riding home from chimney rock yestedaty through piscataway and was going to take the tracks home but saw those trains stopped and lots of police activity...figured it wasn't good....very sad news...The train was blocking 3 road crossings this morning when I left for my my ride. Didn't think much of it because it often stops at the Steel Factory up the street. Apparently a kid was killed trying to beat the train...I jumped onto the tracks about 50feet in front of the stopped train to start my ride and take those pics. Sad.
