H2H Series and questions

I may try and get my fat behind into this race, but want to make sure I don't make a fool of myself.

To be honest, most racers are more concerned with their own performance. Only the scorekeepers are paying close attention. No one should be worried about embarrassing themselves. A first-timer should do Cat 3 and just have fun.

Everyone who holds out till next year or until they are in better shape end up kicking themselves for not doing it sooner.

That is an even better point. See some of ya'll at wayway.

so after talking to Mare today im pretty sure im going to give the "bulldog romp" a go this year.

2. can i use my SS? i will be doing the beginner cat3

3. um...thats all

Cool! I am glad you are going to give racing a shot. I know you got your questions answered, but I'll still give my 2 cents.

2. Absolutely. KVSP is an awesome, fast course and you will do fine on your SS. Glad to see though that you'll get out there sooner afterall. See you at Wawayanda!

3. Ok. Bye.

I ride my SS (now fully rigid) at KVSP all the time and you can race it there but I don't think there's a Cat 3 for SS. I think the lowest for SS is Cat 2.

Well now all that's left is 2 find someone 2 hold my keys and phone...and figure out how much its gonna run me total with parking and fees.

I'm sure there will be plenty of people to help you out. I know me and the family are coming up to Wayway to spectate, take pictures, and help anyone out if they need it.

I don't know about Wayway but there's no parking fees at Kittatinny (Bulldog Rump) and the registration for Cat 3 is $21 if you do it online. That's the one I'm planning on doing.

There should not be any parking fees at any of the H2H races.

I carry my keys, phone, tube and pump on me when racing.

Mare is on to something .... pink parts rule!😀

Have fun and see you there! Will you be wearing a shirt with a barfing unicorn?

My question is...

...when I registered for the race I also checked the one day license box but there was no application to fill out. Does that mean my license will automatically be there and ready when I show up on race day?

They'll have you down as paying the $5 in advance and you'll sign a waiver at the race.

I keep my key hidden in my car, I dont know where you are from but up here is quite safe. Dont even worry about your phone, keep it in your car. There will be so many riders and course marshals around to help you if there is an issue. Only thing I carry with me is my super multi tool.

I also keep my key near the car. Last week I was running behind and forgot to close my drivers door, stashed the key though. I was lucky nothing was gone, compay car with company laptop in the back.
